Dana Duran
Dana joined the Boys & Girls Club of Craig as the Executive Director in May 2007. Dana previously worked in college admissions, increasing under-represented populations’ access to higher education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Mathematics from Regis University and a Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. In her years as Executive Director of BGC NWC, Dana counts the following as key accomplishments:
- Increased average daily attendance to well over 100 members at both Clubs.
- Collaborated with key community members to launch a Club in Steamboat Springs.
- Coordinated with the resource development director to implement a donor tracking system.
- Successfully secured funding for renovation and relocation of the Craig Club’s front entrance – increasing safety and security.
- Increased volunteers by 30% by integrating 5 AmeriCorps members into the Volunteer Program.
- Successfully implemented local fundraisers, securing needed local match dollars.
- Completed El Pomar’s and Community Resource Center’s leadership programs, and Boys & Girls Club of America’s Advanced Leadership Program for Executives.
