Encourages curiosity and problem solving through hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities, allowing members to explore freely without the pressure of grades.
Combats the summer slide by seamlessly blending learning with fun activities during school breaks.
Promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13-18 by building their basic money management skills.

Good Character & Citizenship

Our programs empower kids and teens to become their best selves by building meaningful relationships, developing a strong self image, and serving as a positive influence. We show them the power and responsibilities of citizenship, including contributing to the Club and the community.

Programs

A self-discovery and personal development program that helps youth build confidence, resilience and emotional well-being through interactive activities and discussions.
Empowers youth to resist substance use, make healthy choices, and build decision-making skills through age appropriate lessons.
Gym games that develop healthy lifestyles, motor skills, movement knowledge, social, and personal skills.
A character and leadership program that recognizes Boys & Girls Club members who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership skills, and service to the community. Under the guidance of adult Club mentors, the program develops critical skills such as interviewing, resume building, and public speaking.
Provides opportunities for members to demonstrate the positive impact youth and teens can have on their communities through youth-led service projects.
Gives teens the opportunity to build a positive work ethic, learn customer service and life skills, and get help with college prep and career planning.

Healthy Lifestyles

Our programs help kids & teens build healthy habits for mental and physical weel-being that will last a lifetime!

Programs

Helping kids find positive coping mechanisms like physical activity (bike rides, yoga, swimming, etc.) and healthy snacks (sometimes straight from our garden).
Gym games that develop healthy lifestyles, motor skills, movement knowledge, social, and personal skills.
Provides motivational student training that focuses on positive digital futures. Topics include cyberbullying, sexting, Internet predators, and social media.
A suite of targeted programs and other resources designed to help young people develop healthy decision-making attitudes and skills.
